Karen Raminha, Owner/Broker, ABR, GRII have been a realtor for California and Oregon for almost 30 years. Many hours of classes, and seminars, plus my many interests and hobbies help to enhance my skills in the real estate business. Born in Riverside, California, I lived with my Grandmother up to my Junior High School year. I then lived with my mother and father. He was in the Air Force, and we vacationed in Japan, Philippines, China, and Hawaii, while spending three years stationed on Guam, in the Mariannas Island’s where I graduated High School. My father was then transferred to Vandenburg AFB and we moved to Lompoc, California. At that time I moved back to Riverside to take care of my elderly Grandmother and I worked for the Pacific Telephone Company as a long distance operator, and helped my husband in both building and driving stock cars and drag racers. Skydiving was another hobby that I participated in. I moved to San Luis Obispo county California, and as a single parent, worked long hours to provide for my children. A change in careers occurred and I found my niche in life, real estate. Assisting others in finding and obtaining their dream homes evolved into a long-term commitment. I worked toward and earned my broker’s license in California and Oregon, plus received recognition for being top listing and selling agent many times. I received valuable experience while working for Prudential, Century 21 and Coldwell Bankers Real Estate Companies, where I was also the key speaker at many training seminars. In my spare time I would pack up my children, dogs, horses, and other local neighborhood children and head for the nearby beaches or mountains for camping trips. I was a docent at Montana De Oro State Park helping maintain trails for horseback riders, and hikers. Other activities included serving as president for the local woman’s trail riding group “The Happy Hoofers: and I was a member of the California Cow Bells: the state cattlewomen’s group. Softball was another sport I enjoyed. I was a pitcher for local co-ed teams for many years, plus coaching my two children’s little league teams. My husband, Dan Raminha, who is the son of a Morro Bay ranching family had been visiting Wallowa County for many years, and the first time he brought me to the county, I fell in love with not only the beauty of the area, but also the warm friendly people. This was an ideal location to call home. ‘It’s the kind of place that just keeps pulling you back until you just have to be here full time”. In the past 45 years, Dan and I have made life long friends in the Wallowa Valley. I’m a graduate Realtor’s Institute, (GRI) Accredited Buyers Representative, (ABR) Council of Residential Specialist, (CRS) and I strive to keep up with the ever changing world of real estate by attending many different schools, seminars, and classes. One of the classes I attended was a strenuous weeklong course, which included subjects on financing, agency, client representation, and other real estate related subjects. I also keep my California Realtors license current and maintain a working relationship with many California Realtors. Currently Dan and I live on ten acres between Joseph and Enterprise and we enjoy camping, horse back riding, hunting, and landscaping our property. I spend my spare time caring for my gardens and ponds. I love to quilt and have made over 75 lap quilts for local nursing home residents. Other organizations I belong to are the Wallowa County Board of Realtors, the Wallowa County Quilt Guild, Oregon Cattle Women’s Association, NRA, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Eagle Cap Shooters Association, National Association of Realtors, and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and attend Enterprise Christian Church. I also started Hometown Hero’s Support Group, and mail out about 30 boxes a month to our local soldiers serving overseas. At Stagestop Realty we strive to provide the quality of service everyone is looking for and few find. We look forward to assisting you with all of your real estate needs, and promise to provide you with kind, courteous, and professional real estate service from agents who have a high degree of integrity and honesty. Department My wife Susie, a veterinarian at Red Barn Veterinary, and I, along with our son Connor, and daughter Addie, live north of Joseph on a small acreage just close enough to “grampas” house. Teri Senger, BrokerI was born and raised in Southern California by my two loving parents. I graduated high school in 1999 and began attending college only to realize I was paying way too much money for classes that I really didn’t want to take. So…I decided that I would go a different route. I joined the U.S. Army. I figured, my brother did it, my dad did it, as well as both my grandfathers and all my uncles. If they could do it…so could I. I first enlisted for 4 years. I was stationed at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California. There I did aviation refueling, supervised a supply unit, created a reporting system for deployable and non-deployable soldiers, as well as reports for the Department of Defense. In 2003 I re-enlisted for another 2 years and was then station at Fort Drum in New York. I was responsible for the health and welfare of 11 soldiers. I successfully trained them and instilled in them the 7 Army Values: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. These are values that are still very important to me. In 2005, I was honorably discharged from the Army and returned home to California. In August 2007, my husband (Larry Senger) and I were married in Joseph. I fell in love with the beauty and serenity that Wallowa County has to offer. I had never lived in a place that people actually drove the speed limit! I finally realized that this is where I wanted to raise my children. Our son, Mika and our daughter, Mackenzie, are free to run around outside, fish and do things outdoors. I love that my kids are using their imaginations and are able to be raised in a safe enviormant. Enjoying the outdoors, without the threat and worry that I once had living in the city. We hope to expand our family in the years to come and I am truly blessed to be able to live in such a beautiful place. With all of the experience that I have had in prior jobs, I have come to realize that no matter what, customer service is #1. I know that buying and selling property is scary and there are a lot of uncertainties. That is why I have dedicated myself to making sure there are no unanswered questions. I want you to understand the process of buying and selling and everything that entails. I am driven, and if there is a question I don’t know the answer to, I am not too proud to ask someone else. I would also love the opportunity to help other Veterans that are looking to use that hard earned VA loan. I have the contacts and have done research on the requirements of qualifying for a VA loan, see the article “From One Vet to Another” on this website. I am also here for you through out the entire process. I will keep you informed and will be available to you for any questions and concerns you may have. I look forward to assisting you in finding the property that you are looking for. Come on in and see me! I am excited to start working for you! “Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle”Stop by Stagestop Realty or give Teri a call or quick email, and leave the rest to her.
