Joseph lies nestled at the foot of the stunning snow capped Wallowa Mountains.
Living in rural Joseph is about as close to Heaven as you can get. From the North of town you have wide open panoramic views of the Wallowa Mountains and spectacular sunsets. Pristine streams wind their way through the valley offering excellent fishing opportunities.
Properties in this area are mostly two to five acres, with a few starting at one acre, all the way up to 40 acres in size. These would make excellent horse parcels and many are close enough to ride into the mountains.
Enjoy peaceful White Tail or Mule deer as they graze nearby or watch Hawks and Eagles soaring above. A mile North of Joseph we watch a pair of fox frolicking near the den with their young every year.
Emerald green forests and Wallowa Lake lay to the South of Joseph, where you can find pretty timbered parcels, usually five to ten acres in size.
Sweeping Valley view’s open up as you travel higher, and you will find a huge variety of wildlife including Elk, Deer, Fox, Coyote, Squirrels, Ground Hogs, Bear, Cougar, Hawks, Sparrows, and Eagles.
Although a small mountain community, Joseph boasts a modern airport which can accommodate small jets, and within walking distance are timbered five to twenty acre parcels.
